About Me, My Experience & Expertise
Thara Brigitte Mills Simmonds is a results-driven project and business leader with over eight years of hands-on experience shaping inclusive education, community development, and enterprise innovation across Ghana, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, social impact, and operational excellence — where empathy meets execution.
As the Founder and Strategic Lead of Mulan Smart Educational Center (MSEC) and Mulan Neurodiversity School (MNS), Thara has built two pioneering institutions that champion neurodiversity, inclusive learning, and vocational empowerment. Under her leadership, these schools have served more than 200 students, introduced adaptive curricula, and developed community partnerships that have deepened educational impact across Ghana.
In 2025, Thara received international acclaim as the Global Education Reformer of the Year and recipient of the Global Excellence in Special Needs Education Award from the Global Women Leadership Summit & Honors, recognizing her contributions to redefining inclusive education worldwide.
